Competition is tough and the production has to be organized very
efficiently. One of many routine tasks of the production team is the daily
manual control of the dust collectors / bag houses, to avoid a malfunction
which can result in environmental pollution and very unhappy neighbours.

Solution
To improve the plant safety and to further enable the production-staff to
concentrate on the essentials, Getreide AG - one of Germany"s large
animal feed producers - has installed DYNAguard GM dust monitors
behind the existing dust collectors. Daily inspections are no longer
required. If a filter bag breaks or was installed improperly the fan is
automatically switched off. The broken filter can be replaced and the dust
collector is immediately restored to proper operation.
This increases the safety - 24 hours a day.
The DYNAguard technology is highly sensitive and based on a modified
triboelectric measurement principle. The instrument detects the particles
which hit and pass by the sensor rod.
