For specific static earthing applications A new single pole connector is now available to specify for the static earthing of fixed plant equipment that is regularly cleaned and maintained or requires regular movement around the plant. These new connectors from Newson Gale ensure perfect fast and permanent connection to the earth to drain static charges, and are the perfect addition to the Earth-Rite MULTIPOINT ground control unit.

Vesx45fe The clamp, which is called the VESX45FE, is designed to make a secure connection to the conductive parts of FIBC Type C bags, liners and other flexible materials. The design is similar to the VESX45F, however, the plastic serrated block present on the VESX45F monitoring clamp, is made from stainless steel on the VESX45FE. This ensures complete conductivity throughout the body of the clamp. The VESX45FE will replace the VESX43 clamp, eventually used in conjunction with Earth-Rite® FIBC systems

For Earth-Rite static grounding systems The VESM02 self-retracting static grounding reel provides a suitable alternative to spiral cable for use with the Earth-Rite range of static grounding systems, especially for areas where self-retracting cable reels are a standard requirement. The reel is ATEX certified for installation in Zone 1 and Zone 21 hazardous areas and connection to all certified Earth-Rite Intrinsically Safe monitoring systems. The reel is supplied with 15 metres (50 ft.) of Cen-Stat 2 conductor static dissipative cable. Features • Certified for ATEX Zone 1 and 21 hazardous areas. • Self-retracting with up to 15 metres (50 feet) of Hytrel® protected cable. • Silver plated ultra low resistance slip ring contacts. • Includes 3 metres (10 feet) of cable for connection to all Earth-Rite static grounding systems. • Adjustable guide arm provides flexible installation options • Includes auto locking ratchet for constant tension.

ATHEX`s range of certified static earthing clamps can now be specified with a new Grounding Station. The Grounding Station provides an identifiable location for equipment or plant items that require earthing protection from the hazards of static electricity. Up to two Newson Gale static earthing clamps can be connected to the Grounding Station which is, itself, connected to the site earth. If more than two items of plant equipment require static earthing protection, multiple Grounding Stations can be interconnected to provide a secure and reliable path to earth. Made from stainless steel the stations can be mounted in operating environments ranging from clean rooms to corrosive atmospheres. The Grounding Station also provides operators with an ideal location to stow the earthing clamps when they are not in use.

Static earthing Our new generation earth control systems can now be ordered completely installed in a cabinet. The new generation earthing systems of ATHEX are developed following the newest technologies, with newly developed ground monitoring electronics and a new operator interface. The modern and robust universally approved IIC explosion proof enclosure make it possible using these systems in high explosive ATEX environments zone 1 IIC T6.

for long duration checking For process applications that require earthing for more than 6 hours per day, there is a brand-new mains supply designed on 230V or 110V to power the monitoring circuit of each indicator station. The IECEx / ATEX certified Universal Power Supply can provide continuous power for up to 10 GRP monitoring-indicator stations simultaneously. The monitoring-indicator stations can be mounted in Zone 1/21 hazardous areas with the IS power supply located in a Zone 2/22 area or local Safe Area.
